The World´s Largest Ice Cave "Eisriesenwelt Werfen"

A visit of the largest ice cave in the world is an evermemorable adventure. Along the Salzach River Valley, past Golling and the romantic road over the pass Lueg we reach Werfen with the same named castle (11th century).

From Werfen a mountain road leads up to the ice cave parking. From there in a short hike to the cable car which brings us up to an alpine hut (drinks and snacks available there). In another 15 minutes hike to the cave entrance where the adventure starts.

In the caves the temperature is around the freezing point - visitors need warm clothes and sturdy shoes. Price includes entrance fee to the caves and the cable car.
